\nThe TN Drug User Health Research Symposium at Meharry is an annual 3-day conference focusing on research and evidence-based practices that expand access to care and improve outcomes for Tennesseans struggling with substance use and addiction. It is only conference of its kind in Tennessee.\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Plenary: Toni Young<\/h4>\n
Topic: Rural Health. Toni will discuss concerns about potential cuts to SAMHSA funding and the need for organizations to develop parallel systems before federal funding disappears. She will also talk about how the changing funding landscapes may force health organizations to collaborate more closely rather than maintaining separate administrative structures and how shared resources could help improve service delivery and health outcomes in rural areas.<\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n<\/div>
